Principal - Dr. (Ms.) Neeraj Priya
Dr. (Ms.) Neeraj (Alias Neeraj Priya) took charge as the Principal of the college on 24th July, 2009.
She is a science graduate from University of Delhi. She has done M.A. (Pol.Science) from University of Rajasthan. Her B.Ed., M.Ed., Ph.D. (Edu.) is from Central Institute of Education (DU). She secured 1st position in M.Ed. and honoured with Gold Medal. She has cleared NET (Edu.) and JRF (UGC) in first attempt.
She has teaching experience of approximate 20 years including school and university level. She has taught Political Science to class XI & XII for more than 13 years in a reputed Public School. She has experience of teaching B.Ed., B.El.D and B.A.(Education subject) in University of Delhi's Department of Education (CIE), Aditi College, Mata Sundri College and School of Open Learning. She is a visiting supervisor of Maharishi Valmiki College of Education (DU). She has also taught B.Ed. course in IIMT (affiliated to GGSIPU) for one year.
She is a prominent writer / author. More than 40 articles on different socio-educational issues have been published in reputed newspapers. About 15 papers have been published in reputed referred and non-referred journals. One book "Aarkshan Niti Aur Shikshak" is also to her credit. She has also co-authored SCERT (Civics) and NCERT (Pol.Sci.) text books. She is also being invited in different workshops and seminars as resource person.
Dr. Neeraj Priya
Dr. Geeta Pathak (Associate Professor)
Dr. Geeta Pathak is currently Associate Professor in Guru Ram Dass College of Education (affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi). She has been with GRDCE since 2009. With a Ph.D. in Education from Panjab University, Chandigarh, Dr. Pathak's academic journey stands out. She holds the distinction of being a UGC Senior Research Fellow and is NET (UGC) qualified. Her academic prowess extends to mathematics, with an M.Sc. in the subject and a Master's in Education from GNDU. Her teaching career spans over 19+ years, during which she has impacted countless students.
She is a prolific author, with three books and three mathematics booklets to her name. Her scholarly contributions include numerous research papers in reputable national and international journals. Dr. Pathak is also renowned for her action research, with 21 projects to her credit.
Manvinder Kaur(Astt. Professor)
Ms. Manvinder Kaur , has done her M.A. (Geography )from Delhi School Of Economics, University of Delhi, B.Ed M.Ed. from Jamia Millia Islamia University. She has cleared UGC- NET in Education and NET in Geography. She has a teaching experience of 12 + years and working with GRDCE since last 10+years as a faculty member. She has been an all rounder throughout her academic career and has avidly organized and participated in co-curricular activities.. She has been a merit student in her B.Ed and M.Ed Degree programmes of the Jamia Millia Islamia University.
She has also been engaged by IGNOU and Jamia Millia Islamia University as a counsellor and conducted workshops for their B.Ed Distance Mode Programme. She has presented and published many research papers and her area of interest includes Art Education, Pedagogy of Social Sciences and Sociology of Education.
Ms. Arti Bhatnagar (Astt.Prof.)
Ms. Arti Bhatnagar has done her schooling from Cambridge school, New Delhi. She has completed her graduation from Delhi University and her PG (education ) from Jamia Millia Islamia. She did her M.Phil (education) from CIE,Delhi University. She has 14 years of teaching experience. She is also involved with the organization of various academic and CCA. She has been associated with NCERT, IGNOU and Delhi University. She has published articles in national and international journals. Presently she is pursuing her Ph.D. from GGSIP University, Delhi.
Neha Madan (Asst.Professor)
Neha Madan, has done her masters in Community Resource Management and Extension (Home science) with distinction from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University. She did her M.Ed from Jamia Millia Islamia .She has qualified UGC-NET in Education as well as Home Science. She also holds a teaching experience of over 3 years in SCERT, DIET Delhi.
Apart from teaching she has also worked as a Research Assistant in National level project on Art Integrated Learning Pedagogy, a collaborative project of NCERT and DIET. She has also done research project on status of Eco clubs in Directorate schools and presented it at Research Conclave. She has also publication in educational magazines, most recently in CENBOSEC, CBSE and has attended no of seminars and conferences. She has been actively involved in community work for generating awareness among people about education and health issues throughout her academic career and also worked as volunteer in NGOs.
Anita Sharma
Anita Sharma has done M.A., B.Ed. and M.Ed. from University of Delhi. She has done her master in Hindi from CCS University, Meerut. She has qualified UGC-NET in Education. She has teaching experience in different schools and B.Ed. colleges of more than 17 years. She has also presented research papers in various national seminars and also participated in various workshops. Apart from teaching she has also participated in different sports activities. She has also played sports (baseball, softball and cricket) at National Level.
Ms Komal Arora
Ms Komal Arora has done M.A.Mathematics and B.A.(H) Mathematics from
Hansraj College , Delhi University .She has also done B.Ed. &M.Ed. from
MDU, Rohtak. She is currently pursuing Ph.D.(Education) from GGSIPU.
She has qualified UGC-NET (Education) & CTET. She has also done Post
Graduate Diploma in Higher Education from IGNOU. She has more than 5
years of experience as a Teacher Educator (B.El.Ed. and B.Ed.) in colleges
affiliated to D.U. & GGSIPU and has also worked as an Academic
Counsellor for IGNOU - B.Ed. programme. She has also participated in
many National Seminars and workshops.
Ms. Shivani Jain (Asst.Professor)
Ms. Shivani Jain has done M.Ed from Chaudhary Charan Singh University of Meerut .She has completed her Masters in Sociology and Masters in Philosophy from Chaudhary Charan Singh University of Meerut . She has qualified UGC-NET in Education. She has worked as an Assistant Professor in B.Ed Programme for more than 3 years with the reputed institutes of GGSIP University.
Ms. Sangam (Assistant Professor)
Ms. Sangam has done her masters in commerce, B.Ed and M.Ed from Maharishi Dayanand University Rohtak .She has qualified UGC-NET in Education, CTET, HTET (two times) in First attempt. She has Teaching experience in different schools and teacher education Colleges (M.Ed, B.Ed, D.El.Ed) of more than 9 years. She has authored 4 research papers in reputed national and international journals. She has also participated in many national seminars and workshops.
Ms. Nishi Gupta (Assistant Professor)
Ms. Nishi Gupta has done M.Ed from Department of Education, University of Delhi. Also, she has done B.El.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education) from Gargi College, University of Delhi. She has completed Masters in Sociology from
IGNOU. She has qualified UGC-NET in both Education and Sociology, and CTET. She has presented a number of research papers in national and international seminars and conferences, published chapters in edited books, and participated in various workshops and FDPs. She has enriching teaching experience at both school and college level. Her areas of interest include Educational Psychology, Sociological Foundation of Education, Research Methodology, among others.
Ms. Shivani Gaur (Assistant Professor)
Ms. Shivani Gaur, has done schooling from St. Xavier’s School, Delhi. She has completed her Graduation in Mathematics from University of Delhi, B.Ed. from Maharaja Surajmal Institute, GGSIPU. She completed her M.Ed. from CIE, University of Delhi and M.Sc. Mathematics from Annamalai University. She has also qualified UGC-NET (twice) and CTET (thrice).
She holds teaching experience of 1 year in a school in Delhi and more than 1 year as Assistant Professor in B.Ed. colleges in GGSIPU. She has also participated in multiple National level Seminars, Workshops and Conferences.
Ms. Parul Uniyal
Ms. Parul Uniyal has done her schooling from Kamal Public Sr. Sec. School, New Delhi. She has completed her graduation from Delhi University. She has done Diploma in elementary teacher training from Amity University, Noida and B.Ed. (with distinction) from SGT University, Gurugram. She has also done M.Ed. from Amity University, Noida. She secured first position in Diploma in elementary teacher training and awarded with merit scholarship, gold medal and Shri Baljit Shastri award for the best in human and traditional values. she has cleared CTET and UGC NET in first attempt. She has an internship experience at NCERT (CIET) and was awarded with certificate of exemplary performance. She has also published research article in international research journal of educational psychology. she had a wide experience of internships at schools and educational institutes. She had also participated in many national seminars and workshops.
Dr. Geetanjali Malhotra
Dr. Geetanjali Malhotra has pursued Ph.D. (Education), B.Ed., and M.Ed. from Jamia Millia Islamia, and B.Sc. (H) Physics and M.Sc. Physics from the University of Delhi (Miranda House). She qualified for NET-JRF Education (2017) and CTET in her first attempts. Her research articles have been published in reputed journals and edited books. She has also given five paper presentations and received the 3rd Best Paper Presentation Award from Annamalai University. She has contributed as a Resource Person at NCERT and as a volunteer and intern at other prestigious institutions. She has attended many short-term courses, workshops, and FDPs. She actively participated in co-curricular activities during her academic career and secured top positions and a gold medal.
Savita Swami (Assistant Professor)
Ms. Savita Swami, Assistant Professor, is a dedicated educator with a strong academic
background. She completed her education at Rishikul Vidyapeeth, Sonipat, and holds an
honors degree in English from Tika Ram P.G. Girls College. With postgraduate degrees in
English and Education (B.Ed. and M.Ed.) from renowned institutions with distinction, she has
over 2 years of teaching experience in DCRUST and GGSIPU-affiliated institutions.
Her scholarly pursuits include research papers in national journals and published chapters.
She actively contributes to academia through extension lectures, national seminars, and
workshops. She prioritizes professional development, evident in her participation in Faculty
Development Programs (FDPS).
Beyond education, she is a versatile individual, balancing her role as an interior designer and
volunteering for an NGO. Her multifaceted approach underscores a commitment to
education, research, and community impact.
